SYNOPSIS
In downtown Warsaw, on Wolf Street (Ulica Wilcza), Arjun Talwar, who emigrated from India ten years ago, still struggles to find his place. Seeking to better understand his adopted home, he films his neighbours and explores the relationships that shape this unique street. With the help of his friend Mo, another immigrant filmmaker, Arjun encounters a gallery of memorable characters: a postman delivering comfort as well as letters, a Syrian exile recreating his hometown, and a wandering brass band. Through their stories, he discovers people who, like himself, live between past and present, between memory and belonging. On the kilometre-long stretch of Wolf Street emerges a portrait of contemporary Europe—diverse, complex, and full of contradictions. Challenging stereotypes about Poland, the film offers a witty, intimate, and deeply human look at a country seen through the eyes of a foreign filmmaker.
