What are we proud of? - Young Creation Triennial
Zine Workshop: "What are we proud of?"
déi aner invites the community to challenge the status quo about which stories are worth sharing. After this year's Pride, the question remains: what are we truly proud of? How do we keep the revolutionary spirit of queerness alive when celebrations are co-opted by big companies or political institutions?
Whether you identify as queer, ally, or are simply curious, this workshop welcomes everyone to express themselves on past struggles and imagine new realities. The zine may take the form of a manifesto, scrapbook, or comic, adapting to any language or idea.
Linked to the Common Ground exhibition, focused on visibility and collective expression, déi aner uses this workshop to examine these topics through a queer perspective. Drawing inspiration from the Stonewall riots and nightlife scene, the workshop highlights the fight for rights and queer liberation. déi aner is a new media and community-building collective centering marginalized people. Through stories, events, and experiences, they create spaces for expression and solidarity.
