One of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary piano, the great Brad Mehldau has forged a unique path, embodying the essence of jazz exploration, classical romanticism, and the charm of pop. In his upcoming release with Nonesuch Records, Quatorze Rêveries, Mehldau reflects on the inner experience we create from our own consciousness, independently of others. Written in a similar spirit to his Suite: April 2020, Quatorze Rêveries is a meditation on the space the composer leaves between the different directions he wishes to explore, allowing the beauty of music to be revealed while opening the way to new discoveries.
