Body awareness is one of the keys to good and safe movement. Which is why I blended yoga with anatomy and neurology: to give you the practical and theoretical tools to get started and/or deepen your backbend practice.
We start with a whole body flow (hypermobile friendly), paying special attention to spine and shoulders.
We briefly cover the upper body and learn what to move and how we can move it.
Then comes the juicy part: we get to play with different transitions applying neurology drills, working with the eyes, breath and nerves.
We finish with a nice and slow cool down.
