Discover the grand history of Europe through the smaller stories of its capitals: Strasbourg, Luxembourg, and Brussels. The main European institutions, at the heart of an ongoing struggle between national interests and visions of Europe, are recounted here by Catherine Trautmann, Jean-Claude Juncker, Louis Michel, Colette Flesch, and Charles Goerens. What emerges from this little-known history is the face of Europe today, a landscape of successes and failures, of symbols and the ever-shifting quest for legitimacy. Screening in the presence of director Donato Rotunno, and Caroline Mart, for a discussion with the audience after the screening. A friendly drink will be offered by the CNA at the end of the session.
