Triadic Perspectives brings together three works in three movements, written in different periods but all for the same ensemble: violin, cello and harp. The three composers, little known to the general public, each come from a different country and represent three distinct styles: Luigi Maurizio Tedeschi, a 19th-century Italian composer known for his elegant and expressive writing; Jan Ladislav Dussek, a late 18th-century Czech composer whose Trio Sonata illustrates the clarity and balance of the classical spirit; and Jacques Ibert, a 20th-century French composer whose Trio blends modernity and freedom of expression. Three eras, three styles, three movements: an exploration of the trio's richness through time and styles.
