Repair Cafés are volunteer gatherings where participants repair their broken items together: IT (hardware & software), furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothes, bicycles, mechanical devices, etc. There will be two textile repairers present – bring your shirts, trousers, and other clothes! We are looking for repairers! If you have skills in electronics, woodworking, mechanics, sewing, etc. and want to help with the Repair Café, contact us to support the event. Please note that it is possible that there won’t be repairers for certain objects on the day of the event. For touchscreen devices or smartphones, the service is generally limited to diagnostics and advice. Before coming: - Check your device's power supply and maintenance (e.g., charge batteries, check cables, clean/descale as necessary). - Bring everything needed to test your repair (e.g., coffee pod for a coffee machine, DVD for a DVD player, remote for HiFi, etc.).
