Repair Cafés are volunteer meetings where participants repair their broken items together: IT (hardware & software), furniture, household appliances, toys, textiles/clothes, bicycles, mechanical devices, etc. At this Repair Café, you can also bring jewelry to be repaired. For touchscreen devices/smartphones, services will generally be limited to diagnostics and advice. It is recommended to have these devices repaired by specialized stores. Before coming: – Check your device’s power supply: inspect batteries, indicator lights, and power cords. – Maintain your device: empty filters, descale coffee machines, etc. What to bring: – All necessary elements to test your item to be repaired (coffee capsules, CDs, fuel, charger, cable, manual, remote control, speakers, identified spare parts, etc.). Attention: There may not be repair specialists for all types of items at the event.
