Repair Cafés are volunteer meetings where participants repair their broken items together: IT hardware & software, furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothing, bicycles, and mechanical devices. For touch screen devices or smartphones, the service is generally limited to diagnostics and advice. It is recommended to have these devices repaired by specialized stores. Before coming, please check: – Power supply: is the control light on? Are the batteries charged? Is the power cord in good condition? – Device maintenance: empty the filters of hairdryers and vacuum cleaners, descale your coffee machine, etc. Remember to bring all necessary items to test your object for repair (coffee capsules, DVD, fuel, charger, cable, user manual, remote control, speakers, connection cables, identified spare parts, etc.). Please note, there may not be specialists for all items on the day of the event.
