It all starts with a sensation in the lower back that slowly crawls up the spine, briefly settles between the shoulder blades, then makes its way to the neck and behind the ears. It often slips between the shoulders and along the arms. Sometimes you're cold, sometimes you're hot. Your stomach tightens, but your ears perk up... Hengerhaut Geschichten is an invitation to shiver and tremble together, a play with light, shadow, and also with total darkness; a play with various instruments and objects that set the imagination soaring.
