Botis Seva / Far From The Norm
- theater
- Representation
Following BLKDOG in 22•23 and Until We Sleep in 24•25, Botis Seva returns to the Grand Théâtre for the world premiere of his radically autobiographical solo. Sing Child Sing explores how to protect oneself while learning from the past without becoming trapped in it. Through a raw exploration of healing, identity and the invisible legacies passed down from generation to generation, and through incandescent physicality, Botis Seva reveals how abandonment, frustration and faith are inscribed in the body and resurface in flashes. Performed by Botis Seva, Sing Child Sing is intended as a courageous and redemptive act of transformation, an invitation to feel, understand and rise.
