Creative workshop for children: ‘Design your own book!’ Day 1: Make your own paper ‘Let's make paper!’ workshop: Children make their own recycled paper from old newspapers and fibres. Day 2: Print your designs ‘Gel printing’ workshop: Using the Gelli plate technique, the children print colourful patterns on their paper. These pages will later become their book. Day 3: Bind your book ‘Bookbinding’ workshop: The children learn simple binding techniques to create a personalised book from their sheets of paper.
