The culmination of the Books & Beats project, The Sound of a Story, The Story of a Sound, is a collaborative project that brings together participants from both the Books and the Beats events. The aim is to either create a soundtrack inspired by one or more written stories, or to craft a story sparked by the sounds. At the end of the season, the final works will be presented in a public showcase. Day programme (Books only): - 09:30-11:00 Club escritura en español (also available in English) An open space for everyone to write, share ideas and explore new ways of expressing ourselves – no experience needed, just paper and pencil! - 11:30-13:00 Club de lectura en español (also available in English) Dedicated to the short story genre. We read, discuss, and comment, all with coffee. - 14:00-15:30 Writing Club (also available in Spanish) A community of writers and creatives who gather to write, share ideas, and support each other's creative processes – no experience needed, just pen and paper. - 16:00-17:30 Reading Club (also available in Spanish) A community of readers who come together to explore, discuss, and enjoy short stories – all with a good cup of coffee.
