With Ceramic Circus, this is not the old classic of spinning plates. Julian Vogel creates his own circus here: pure, simple, clear and yet bold. We wait for the crash of falling and breaking ceramics, while hoping to preserve what is fragile. This paradoxical desire is expressed in an endless drum roll, a bicycle that defies all conventions, and a man on roller skates constantly seeking balance. Ceramic Circus is an invitation to question what seems obvious and, through a festive act, to transform the ordinary into something magical.
