In the 13th century, the Roude Léiw went from a coat of arms to a flag, becoming Luxembourg's national symbol. Over the years, its status changed: it appeared at sports events or on uniforms, reminding people of their Luxembourgish identity. Eventually tired of this role, the Roude Léiw secretly leaves the flag one night and ends up in the mysterious Alusru-Land. There, he meets unusual creatures such as Orlaf, Callis, and Illaias. Although he considers himself superior and wants nothing to do with the locals who care little for property or borders, he soon realizes he will need their help to return to Luxembourg.
