A play about power, ambition, and struggles for dominance. In this contemporary production based on Jean-Michel Treinen's translation, the focus is on the habits of masculinity and the connection with right-wing tendencies in a capitalist society. The action takes place in the present day. The story features Duncan, an experienced leader, attempting to prepare his daughter Malcolm as his successor. However, power and money are not gained through kindness but through dominance and fear. Mäcbess, Duncan's loyal supporter, refuses the male path of violence until Lady Mäcbess plants a fatal idea, leading to regicide and chaos marked by madness.
