The Mierscher Musek and its youth ensemble warmly invite you to their gala concert at the Mierscher Theater. The evening begins with an energetic overture by the youth ensemble, showcasing the new talents of Mierscher Musek. Afterwards, Mierscher Musek will perform under the direction of Ben Brosius. Expect musical highlights such as Appalachian Overture by James Barnes, classical transcriptions of Johann Strauss, and especially Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland. In the second part of the program, the saxophone section is featured with a saxophone duo and a solo for the entire section, demonstrating the versatility of this instrument in the wind orchestra. Famous pieces like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen will also be performed. We are looking forward to your visit!
