At first, there is only a lump of clay. It becomes a ball. A finger makes a hole in the ball, then a second one beside it. A simple nose takes shape, then a mouth. The two performers on stage bring a new playmate to life, maybe even a new friend. Everything is a game—this is about friendship in every facet. With just a few words, you understand if there's disagreement. Sometimes, arranging sticks at the stage's edge sparks different opinions, and actions mix things up. "You and me" means not being alone—there is one and there is the other. They can hug, look at each other, play tenderly or wildly together. If they wish, they can suddenly become many, as other clay creatures, many voices and a circle of friends appear behind some cloths. And there is the audience, who each get a piece of clay to continue building and create their own world.
