Around Nicole Seiler’s Encyclopedie What if watching dance became a game of observation? A game where you try to put a gesture into words? Inspired by Encyclopedie, this workshop invites children – on their own or accompanied by a parent – to observe, describe and pass on movements. Along the way, they discover the curious gap that gradually opens up between the language of words and the language of gestures – wide enough for a single gesture to give rise to a thousand and one stories.
