Is ecological denial not one of the most disturbing riddles of our time? At the crossroads of circus and philosophy, this creation explores its mechanisms, paradoxes and dizzying aspects. A philosopher approaches the public, trying to understand this strange inertia in the face of the ecological crisis: why do we go on living as if nothing is wrong despite what we know? Are we unconscious, powerless, or paralyzed by fear? The lecture continues, until the unexpected happens: three circus artists burst onto the stage. Juggling, hand-to-hand, acrobatics: their bodies challenge questions and destabilize certainties. Little by little, the lecture turns into a sensitive, poetic and tragic-comic adventure. Guillaume Clayssen continues his exploration of today's big questions through a dialogue between the arts and ideas. The show invites the public to reconsider our relationship to the ecological catastrophe, opening a space for imagination and hope.
