Portrait - 1st Semester

This course addresses the issues related to the visual representation of the portrait through drawing and painting, with techniques chosen by the participants. Work from a live model (the model is to be paid by the students). Through learning observation, the rules of construction and proportion, the illusion of volume, as well as the grammar of drawing and colored interactions, participants will also gain landmarks in the history of portraiture. Material to bring: Participants are free to bring their choice of materials. The instructor will also provide some materials for the first session.
