In this sewing course, you will work on your own sewing project – whether it be a daily sewing task, a small alteration to a garment, or sewing a skirt. Among other things, you will learn how to sew a button on properly, replace a zipper, or hem a garment neatly. You will be guided step by step with your personal project. Furthermore, you will learn how to read patterns correctly and adjust them to your own measurements. Depending on your level and interest, you can cut an individual garment and learn various processing techniques. The course also includes the creative design of accessories such as pendants, brooches, scarves, shawls, or stuffed animals. Another focus is on upcycling and enhancing favorite clothes to give existing textiles a new life. Please bring your own sewing machine, sewing accessories (scissors, needles, etc.), suitable fabrics, and a pattern of your choice.
