Two women, one stage, half a chapter and half a homeland. Jess Bauldry and Ceren Tosun present previews of their works in progress, Book Club and Turkish Delight. This stand-up double bill is for anyone who has started writing something without ever finishing it, or who has never quite fitted in anywhere. Expect flakiness, silly songs and some seriously questionable acting. Jess Bauldry is a stand-up comedian and writer. Book Club is her work in progress about being a writer who mostly writes around the actual writing. Ceren Tosun, a Turkish comic born in Izmir, brings a dark, cynical edge and silly songs to the stage.
