Workshop: Japanese Tea Ceremony “Sado”

Discover the Japanese culture of the tea ceremony (Sadō) with Ms Kyoko Tanaka, founder of Tsunagu, through a matcha tasting experience. The programme includes an introduction to Japan and the history of the tea ceremony, a traditional demonstration (temae), followed by a tasting of matcha and a Japanese pastry. Participants will also discover “ma”, a Japanese concept evoking time, space and silence.
