A staged reflection on Richard Wagner, composer, dramatist and polemicist, whose work still inspires both admiration and rejection. The production traces an eventful biography through the different milieus of the 19th century and raises questions about art, politics and society. To mark the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival in 2026, the Independent Little Lies collective looks back on a history full of contradictions and tensions.
