The Optimists is the name of an extraordinary Norwegian volleyball team: the players are between 66 and 98 years old! Although these sporty grandmothers haven’t played a single real match in 30 years of training, they decide to take on a major challenge: travelling to Sweden to face their male counterparts. But first, they have to embroider their tracksuits, find a sponsor, convince the national coach to train them, memorise the rules they have forgotten, get up at dawn to go running… Believe them: being a senior is an opportunity, and these Optimists seize it with both hands!
