Making her main-stage debut, Netia Jones, Associate Director of the Royal Opera, brings Mozart’s comedy of manners into the present day, pairing 18th-century romantic trickery with deeply satirical high-tech betrayal. The cast includes Louise Alder, Simone McIntosh, Mingjie Lei, Huw Montague Rendall, Gerald Finley as Don Alfonso and Emily Pogorelc as Despina. Thomas Hengelbrock conducts.
