Ophélie Hocquard brings her debut stand-up hour. After beginning her career in London, where she was twice nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards, she returns to the stage following a return to Paris. Part coming-of-age story, part cultural clash, the show follows her journey from a patriarchal French upbringing through a feminist awakening in the UK and the rediscovery of her Parisian roots. With her signature deadpan delivery, Ophélie explores what it means to feel “behind” as a woman in her thirties and questions how a woman destined to become a trophy housewife became a childfree witch living in a house full of crystals.
