Science Sunday: Rocket Races

The Junior Einsteins Science Club is hosting the finale of its Space Week at The Office Charlotte in Luxembourg on Sunday, October 11, with three different space science sessions throughout the afternoon. Rocket Races takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. and lasts 50 minutes. Children launch bottle rockets and stomp-powered rockets outdoors, and watch a Coca-Cola and Mentos geyser shoot more than 4 meters high. If the weather becomes rainy, the session takes place indoors and is replaced by Bernoulli's Flying Machines. Everything is explained in English and French. Children respond in whichever language they are most comfortable with, and the instructor adapts to that language. The session is aimed at children aged 5 to 11 and costs 30 euros per child per session. It concludes the afternoon after Out of This World at 2:30 p.m. and Junior Astronaut Training at 3:30 p.m., with both of these sessions booked and paid for separately at the same location.
