- History
The Lengyel Toulouse method demonstrates how abstract geometry, combined with photographic image composition, can convey historical sources, building research and archaeology. Using Cologne Cathedral, Bern Minster and the Palatine as examples, Dominik Lengyel’s fascinating lecture takes us on a journey into the origins of well-known buildings. Dominik Lengyel is a professor and holds the Chair of Architecture and Visualization at the Institute of Architectural and Art History within the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Together with his wife Catherine Toulouse, he runs the Lengyel Toulouse Architekten office for architecture and visualization, based in Berlin. The lecture will be simultaneously translated into French.
