For the 2026 European Heritage Days, neimënster invites you to delve into several centuries of history around the theme “Heritage in Peril: Revive, Resist, Reinvent”. Young and old alike can discover traditional arts and crafts through calligraphy, bookbinding, leatherworking and many other workshops, right in the cloister of the former abbey. You can even take your own creation home with you! You can also explore neimënster’s fascinating history through guided tours in several languages, including one in sign language (DGS). Concerts, performances, singing workshops and demonstrations of traditional crafts will enliven the entire weekend. An event to discover, pass on and bring heritage to life in a different way!
