Calling all pumpkin lovers, foodies and supporters of great causes! The Solidarité Pissila association is organising the 11th edition of Lessy’Trouille, a pumpkin festival like no other, to support humanitarian projects in Togo. Join us on Saturday, 4 October 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Lessy Socio-Cultural Centre in Moselle. The programme for this solidarity event includes pumpkins grown and harvested by volunteers, homemade jams, grape and apple juice, African handicrafts, as well as plenty to enjoy, with a barbecue, soups, crêpes and pastries. And behind this festival lies, above all, a wonderful charitable initiative. The proceeds will notably help fund the extension of the drinking-water network in Agou1, the construction of four standpipes in Avetonou, the purchase of two grain mills, and the transport of children’s beds intended for an orphanage in Togo. In short, a day where people come for the pumpkins, treats and atmosphere… and leave with the satisfaction of having contributed to a wonderful project. An autumn festival, yes. But above all, a festival for a good cause!
