Create small characters with their own personalities with Alvira Ferreira. Turn a piece of clay into a whimsical figurine during this relaxed two-part workshop focused on air-dry clay. Your character can be a person, an animal or an imaginary creature: bring an idea and we’ll work together to see how to give it shape and expression. With a 500 g pack of clay each, you’ll learn simple hand-modelling techniques and experiment with proportions, texture and details. Depending on their size, you may have enough clay to create more than one character. During the first session, we’ll sculpt your creations. They’ll remain at the studio to dry, ready to be painted and personalised during the second session.
