In this practically oriented course, the focus is on speaking and using Luxembourgish in everyday life. Together, we practise everyday conversations, short messages and typical situations in order to use the language directly in practice. We learn how to communicate when shopping, ask for information or carry out administrative procedures. We also practise specific situations, such as requesting information at the CFL information desk, at the LCTO or via Guichet.lu. A visit around the city allows us to apply what we have learned directly in real-life situations. We also practise calling a restaurant, reserving a table and communicating in Luxembourgish. If possible, we can make the learning experience even more practical with a shared meal. Finally, we create a practical guide together with useful sentences, expressions and information that can also be used in everyday life after the course. The aim is to gain greater confidence and self-assurance when speaking and to actively use Luxembourgish in everyday situations.
