Junior Chemists: Elephant's Toothpaste

Kids

Children aged 5 to 11 learn how chemical reactions work in a 50-minute hands-on session. An instructor demonstrates the elephant's toothpaste foam eruption. The children then try two reactions, one that makes CO2 and one that makes O2. They repeat the reaction in small groups so each child makes their own eruption. Every child takes home a sticker. Every experiment is explained in both English and French. Parents drop off and collect their children and do not need to stay. A lab coat and safety goggles are provided. The session runs from 2:30pm to 3:20pm and costs 30 euros per child. Two other sessions run the same afternoon and are booked separately. Luminescent Lava Lamps starts at 3:30pm and Slimy Slime starts at 4:30pm.
