On Saturday, October 31, come and shiver at our special Halloween day! At Halloween, strange events are unfolding at the Zoo… Investigate through a special spine-chilling treasure hunt! Meet us between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the conservation area for special Halloween face painting, in exchange for a minimum donation of €2 to support conservation efforts! Craving some treats? You’ll also find something to satisfy your appetite, with a selection of Halloween-themed sweets. Throughout the day, visit our educational stand dedicated to arachnids (spiders, scorpions, …) and discover these fascinating animals from a different perspective. During your visit, don’t miss the commented feedings “Animals of Fear” and discover spotted hyenas, Arctic wolves, the fossa and many other species, accompanied by our educational activity leaders. New this year: the vultures’ feeding frenzy! Join us for this activity at 3 p.m. and discover the fascinating behavior of these birds during their meal. You can also meet our educational team at the vivarium at 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. for a reptile-themed activity featuring materials to touch. When the zoo closes at 5:30 p.m., head to the Jungle refreshment area, next to the vivarium and the Gorilla House. There, you can enjoy a relaxing moment and treat yourself to something to eat or drink in a musical atmosphere before the festivities begin. At 5:45 p.m., it’s time for the Horror Parade: the launch of a dance and singing show with a Halloween theme. Then, the Luminescences trail opens from 6 p.m. The Horror Parade will return at 7:30 p.m. for a second performance, so visitors to the nighttime event can also enjoy the same show before and throughout the Luminescences trail. This arrangement allows daytime visitors to enjoy privileged access to Luminescences, while reducing the number of visitors simultaneously present on the trail, making the experience smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
