This session gives parents the opportunity to connect with other families while children explore and play. Dr Pía Herrera, who holds a Diploma in General Paediatrics, will lead an interactive discussion on preparing families for winter: appropriate clothing, safe heating and ventilation at home, skin care, nasal hygiene and outdoor activities in cold weather. Participants will also discuss preventing respiratory illnesses, managing fever at home, recognising warning signs and seeking medical advice. Everyday items such as winter clothing, thermometers, saline solution and skin creams will be available to handle.
