Funny story in Luxembourg

Did you know that we were very attentive to Luxembourg? Yes, it's true, we even bonded a real friendship with the local animals ?

We are about to tell you a very unusual story that takes place near Hollenfels : a cute little road closes the traffic to all passersby. Except for one species: toads.

Well yes ! This small road located north of the capital stops all traffic from 19h in the evening to 6h the next day ? This is not because of work, or even because of traffic jams. No no it is Mother Nature who takes back her rights and lets our friends toads reach their favorite water point.

Since they are faster than snails but slower than snakes, the road is gently closed a few hours each day in early spring to let these future charming princes rejoin their home.

Hey, don’t go... Do you want to stay in the loop ?
