The best spots to see the Fireworks 🇱🇺

Happy birthday to youuu, happy birthday to youuu Luxembourg! Or rather say Alles Guddes Letzëbuerg 🇱🇺😊

You know what we are talking about : the party that every self-respecting Luxembourger adores and the event long awaited for you big party animal! Like every year, Luxembourg doesn't do things by half way during the national holiday: it must be said, we know how to celebrate in Luxembourg and we prove it every year thanks to this event not to be missed which starts on the 22nd after -midday. Did-you know it's the moment we celebrate the Grand-Duke's birthday ?

As a specialist in the going out ideas that we are, we have created a program so fresh and so clean to celebrate the country as it should be:

June 22 from 4 pm :

The festivities will begin throughout the country with the solemn relief of the guard in front of the Grand Ducal Palace.

Enjoy your evening by walking through the streets of Luxembourg like a Disney hero, a torch in his hand during the Fackelzuch (torchlight procession) 🔥

Better than the open air of the village and as known as your grandma's recipes, the public places and the streets of Luxembourg-city turn into a giant outdoor party (we pray that Mother Nature gives us good weather), sprinkled with free concerts, DJs and dance tracks just for you and your fire dance moves.

On the food side, we are always very attentive, the local specialties will obviously be there: sausages as hot as snoop's drop, the famous "Gromperekichelcher" (also known as the Schwarzenegger potatoes) as well as local beers and wines too, wann ech gelift ! 🍻

In terms of taking a good look at the famous fireworks drawn from the Adolphe Bridge 🎆
Here is a list of two three places you like to watch the show:

The terrace of the Hotel Parc Plaza: the incredible view filled with stars
Place of the Constitution: let's celebrate together!
The Al Bréck Viaduc, and Gare area
The park of the three acorns : the good plan
Hollerich area

June 23 during the day :

The city will be completely closed for the occasion, on this national day, you will begin with an official ceremony, followed by the gun salute and a military parade in the station area. In the afternoon, the traditional Te Deum is celebrated at Notre Dame Cathedral.

If you're all disappointed because you did not cross the Grand Duke and your children are currently screaming to death in your ears, no stress, here's the Spillfest !

A playful world created for the little ones. The program, full of creative workshops and games out of the ordinary which your munchkins (and even you) will enjoy around all the other small players in the area. At the program: unusual awakening games, sound games, video games and more, are offered by international professionals.

The Spillfest takes place at the Kinnekswiss Park, Avenue de la Porte-Neuve, Luxembourg.

Our little finger tells us that we too will be in the little corner 🙈
