Winter is... not coming!
The first Sunday after carnival, the madness continues, we're chasing down the winter in Luxembourg! We organize a big wood fire and watch it burn! The Great Fire makes it possible to say bye bye to winter and to say hellloooooo to the spring! The firing of the " buerg " is usually preceded by a procession with torches, the " Fakelzuch ". A little everywhere in Luxembourg, you can celebrate this unique and joyful moment, especially in Beggen, Bonnevoie, Cessange and Cents.
