Announced this Monday, May 25 by the Government, the reopening of cinemas in the Grand Duchy will be possible from May 29 and under certain conditions. The news was greeted with joy and enthusiasm by professionals in the sector.

Since the cinemas closed in the Grand Duchy on March 14, the various players in the cinematographic exhibition sector have prepared, in close collaboration, a common Protocol with a view to the controlled reopening of cinemas. All the measures studied and prepared upstream focus on the health and safety of employees and customers.

A Protocol which revolves around three pillars:

+ Adequate management of customer flows inside, to and from the cinema
+ Respect for the rules of social distancing and barrier gestures during the entire visit
+ The greatest attention to hygiene to ensure the safety and health of customers and employees
