___HUMAN RIGHTS WALK

December, 10th at 5:30 pm (until 6:30 pm), Place d'Armes

December is the time when we think about our loved ones and do our best to spend as much time as possible with the people we love. It's a good thing that December 10th is International Human Rights Day.

At that time, Amnesty International, the association that fights for human rights all over the world, is organizing a big family walk in Luxembourg to support this cause.

FORWARD, MARCH!

This walk is above all a moment of sharing to defend universal rights threatened throughout the world, to discover the situation of the 13 people for whom Amnesty is mobilizing as part of the "Write for Rights" campaign, and to show solidarity with those whose lives and dignity are at risk.

So if you too advocate peace like Desmond Tutu and you wish to bring your light to defend this cause, come and light up the streets of the city center, torch and candle in hand with your friends or family!

___HUMAN RIGHTS WALK

If you want to support them even more, don't miss the letter-writing evening that takes place directly after the walk, starting at 7 pm in the Geesseknäppchen Forum. The best part is that you don't even have to plan ahead, as a shuttle bus will be chartered to make it easier for you to get there!

___ WRITE FOR RIGHTS - WRITE A LETTER, CHANGE A LIFE

If you didn't already know, every year, around this International Human Rights Day, thousands of people around the world speak out on social networks, sign petitions, relay messages and write letters to make things happen.

This annual campaign called "Write for Rights" (we all know you pronounced it "vraïte for raïte" with that beautiful french accent) is helping to change the lives of hundreds of people by freeing them from torture, harassment or wrongful imprisonment.

This is the case, for example, of Yren and Mariana who live in Paraguay and simply want to live freely and enjoy the same rights as others as transgender women.

DISCOVER THEIR HISTORY AND THOSE OF OTHERS

Let us act together for a world where everyone can enjoy human rights ✊
