Saturday morning, the Hansen house wakes up slowly... Coffee is brewing and the smell of pain au chocolat tickles the nostrils of the children watching a cartoon. The little gang gathers for breakfast. And like a well-established ritual, the eldest asks the usual question: what are we eating this weekend?

So, as they do every week, the little family set out to find the best meal plan for the weekend 🗓️ And what better place to do it than the Sou Schmaacht Lëtzebuerg website? 

After a lively discussion aimed at satisfying young and old, meat eaters and vegetarians, gourmets and the not so gourmets, the weekend's schedule was approved!

CHEF YES CHEF! 📍In the Hansen house

Sou Schmaacht Lëtzebuerg has more than one trick up its sleeve! The site is also full of sweet and savoury recipes, light or a little lighter, and seasonal. Recipes that reflect Luxembourg cuisine: a mix of simplicity and strength, but without the fuss! 

Frozen raspberry and vanilla vacherin, apple tart, pumpkin soup (you'll have to wait a little longer... pumpkin will be in season in October), Riesling pâté, Rëndsrouladen... There's no doubt that the Hansens will be happy to concoct tasty home-cooked meals 🍲 

Let's get cooking! The walnut cake won't make itself 👨🏻‍🍳

FROM FARM TO FORK, ALL OVER LUXEMBOURG

For the little Hansen tribe, it's also important to give priority to short circuits outside the home! And in Luxembourg, the family is well served, with many restaurants, company canteens, nursing homes and hospices regularly offering dishes made with Luxembourg produce 🇱🇺

The eldest of the siblings delights in healthy dishes concocted with indigenous products on the Campus Vauban. The youngest of the family is also savouring local delicacies at the ‘Bei den Deckelsmouken’ nursery, between two naps and a few tweets 🏫

Next weekend, it's decided, the little family will put the saucepans aside to enjoy one of the restaurants in the Sou Schmaacht Lëtzebuerg network, all over Luxembourg! There's plenty to keep the whole family salivating, and plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the expertise of Luxembourg's chefs and producers!
