To enjoy this sports-filled, intercultural, and 100% free event organized by the City of Luxembourg, in collaboration with CLAE and OPTIN, all you have to do is sign up your team! Mark your calendar: you have until May 30 to assemble your dream team of soccer or volleyball players 🤾🏻‍

Close matches, nonstop celebrations, a super friendly atmosphere, and legs that never stopped moving: that pretty much sums up the day! 
But here’s a bit more about it:

SOCCER TOURNAMENT 

Open to everyone aged 16 and up, with a lineup of 6 players, 1 goalkeeper, and 3 substitutes 🏟️

The golden rule of the tournament: no playing in a closed group - each team must include at least two different nationalities! The idea is simple: mix up the players, break out of routines, and create teams that might seem unlikely 🇫🇷🇧🇪

BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Same spirit on the sand. The beach volleyball tournament brings together teams of 5 players (4 on the court and 1 substitute), also for ages 16 and up 🏐 Diversity is also at the heart of the game because each team can have a maximum of three players of the same nationality.

Quick info: a deposit is required (25€ for volleyball, 50€ for soccer), but it will be refunded if your team shows up on the day of the event!

OFF THE FIELD, TOO 

Because not everyone wants to chase a ball or dive into the sand (and that’s totally fine), a whole host of activities awaits you throughout the day: a giant dartboard, mini-golf, a kids’ obstacle course, and a course for budding mini-champions  ⛳️ 🏌🏻‍ ️but ALSO an inclusive match with the Bananenflanke Luxemburg team 🍌

Between activities, you can treat yourself to some food stalls: DIY bike-blended smoothies, ice cream, and specialties from around the world—so you can travel without leaving the venue 🍽️ 😋

And to end the day on a musical note, several performances will liven up the evening until 9 pm, including an open mic for everyone!  

Whether you come to score goals with your dream team (or a makeshift one), try out the mini-golf, or just soak up the atmosphere, one thing’s for sure: you’ll leave with more than just sore muscles 😎
