3 June 2026

barfootballsport

From June 11 to July 19, 2026, the FIFA World Cup sets its boots in North America for a historic edition. For the first time, 48 nations will compete. A true footballing marathon! 🏆

An XXL format, matches galore, surprises lying in wait, and a global fervor that already spills over the stadiums (and probably the time zones too).

And in Luxembourg? We’re obviously not going to watch it quietly at home while commenting on three messages on WhatsApp. We're going out. We’re gathering. We’re joyfully packing into bars, fan zones, terraces, and parks that, for one summer, become impromptu stadiums. Where the third half begins even before the kickoff ⚽

Follow us, we’ve rounded up the best spots to watch the matches… and most importantly, to stick around long after the final whistle!

KYOSK: BBQ, PETANQUE, AND THIRD HALF

Are you looking for THE spot to watch matches in a chill mode with your friends, colleagues, or your improvised team of supporters? Relax baby, no need to cross the country: head to the Kyosk in Kirchberg ⚽🍻

Here, no concrete bleachers, but deckchairs, good vibes music, and large tables under fairy lights (it almost feels like a World Cup guinguette-style, summer '98 vibe).

A well-stocked bar to celebrate every GOAL, cold beers for overtime, and even pétanque courts (yes, you can shout GOAL when you hit the cochonnet). On the gustatory side: the paradise for BBQ lovers, simple, effective, and incredibly friendly.

PS: between two actions, look up… the sunset is also playing its own match 🌅

📍 Central Park, 10 Rue Léon Hengen, Kirchberg, Luxembourg (Behind the Coque) - LU👉 Regularly check the match schedule and broadcasts with or without sound.

More than just a sports bar, the Offside Bar is a true hub of activity. People gather there to experience the thrill of the biggest competitions, try their luck with friends, or simply enjoy a drink in a contemporary setting. A spot designed to bring people together, share, and create extraordinary moments, a concept that earned it a place among the awardees of the French Design 100 Awards 2026.

To accompany these exciting moments, CASINO 2OOO will also be offering, during certain matches, its "Beer & Burger" deal for only €3. It's a perfect way to enjoy the spectacle, share a good time, and feel the rhythm of football in a 100% friendly atmosphere ⚽🍔🍺✨

OSCAR'S BAR: WHERE GOALS ARE SUNG (AND SHOUTED)

Want to experience the 2026 World Cup in a real Irish pub atmosphere? Head to Oscar's Bar 🍻

With its green touches, rustic wood, and pints flowing faster than the actions on the field, it almost feels like being in Dublin... And of course, the matches will be broadcast every night.

In the kitchen, we serve classic and generous recipes, made with fresh ingredients inspired by British pub traditions, with a modern local twist. Enough to hold on until the final whistle (and maybe a little after).

And if football isn't enough to boost the atmosphere, Friday and Saturday nights, the Grund comes alive with Oscar's karaoke nights 🎤. Mic in hand, you take the stage and put on the showwww!

👉 In summary, we come for the match... and sometimes end up on stage...

GOOOOAL!

PANAME: LARGE SCREEN, TERRACE AND PARISIAN ATMOSPHERE

Close your eyes for two seconds: a lively terrace, glasses clinking... No, you're not in the Marais, you are at Paname 🇫🇷⚽

For the World Cup 2026, the place switches to a chic fan zone mode: giant screen on the terrace and outdoor broadcast of the matches, atmosphere guaranteed with every goal.

Between Parisian bistro spirit and urban guinguette, one comes for a drink... and stays for the match, then for the third half...

But the real playing field of the Paname is found behind the bar. The cocktails evolve with the seasons and the inspiration of the team, which will delight both the fans of the great classics and those who love discoveries. And what would a match be without beers? Don't feel the pressure, we'll serve you plenty 😉

A little hungry? Check their menu, you're going to love it!

The highlight? July 19th, the day of the final. Before the match, there's an open-air concert to kick off the evening as it should be, before switching to the moment everyone is waiting for: the broadcast of the most-followed match on the planet.

Between live music, emotions, and collective fervor, all the ingredients are there to experience a memorable evening with friends or family (the one where you scream "GOAL" with strangers without a second thought).

Matches will be broadcasted in the heart of the town's events, including afterworks, the National Day, and summer evenings.

The grand finale is scheduled for July 19 in Rodange, with the final being shown on a giant screen in a particularly pleasant setting, Place Jos Moscardo. The evening will start at 6 PM with a warm-up hosted by DJ Dimik 🎶🔥 To raise the temperature before the most anticipated match of the competition.

MATCHES TO BE BROADCAST

MEET AT THE GLACIS FOR THE FINAL PHASES

Good news for the supporters: the City of Luxembourg will install a giant screen on the Place du Glacis to follow the 2026 World Cup live ⚽🎉

Starting from the round of 16, on July 4th, you can come and cheer with hundreds of other fans to the rhythm of goals, improbable saves, and nerve-wracking extra time.

However, a small yellow card: due to time difference constraints, only the matches scheduled at 9 PM (Luxembourg time) will be broadcast. For the matches played in the middle of the night, you'll need to dust off your lucky pajamas and support your team from the couch (your neighbors at Glacis will be thankful 😴).

📍Champ du Glacis, 21 Allée Scheffer, Luxembourg - LU

We also recommend Komptoir (Place de Paris) and Playa Beach Club (Howald) to enjoy matches in a great atmosphere... feet in the sand, facing a giant screen! ⚽🍻
