There are places that instantly give you the feeling of being on vacation. If you're looking for a lake to swim in Luxembourg, Lake Remerschen, located in the Moselle region, is definitely one of the must-see spots.

No waves, no hot sand, but a large expanse of water surrounded by nature where people come to spend the day when summer arrives. Covering nearly 25 hectares, the lake offers an ideal playground for swimming, sunbathing, enjoying the sun, and water sports. You can rent your stand-up paddleboard and rowboat!

A great way to spend a day with family or friends, and even bring your small pet, the beach is specially equipped for dogs.

But the real charm of Lake Remerschen lies around the water, as it is located in the heart of the Haff Réimech nature reserve, an area known for its biodiversity and landscapes between vineyards and marshes.

And our little bonus: don't forget your sneakers for a walk in the heart of nature in the splendid Natura 2000 area. Visit the treehouses and take a tour of the Biodiversum Camille Gira nature and forest center (a museum with incredible architecture, free of charge, a wonderful discovery for young and old). The walk and the museum are free.

The opening is generally scheduled from May to September.
It is possible to pay for your entry on site
Visitor numbers are limited to 3000 people.
For residents of the municipality of Schengen, entry is free with proof of residence.
Snacks, drinks and barbecue are allowed (barbecue only with legs)
Open: 7 days a week from 10:00am-6:00pm (until 8:00pm on some days)
