The exhibition takes us on a journey through iconic cities and regions of Italy. Spanning four centuries and featuring works by Italian, Dutch, French, and British painters, it presents idealized ancient landscapes, numerous vedute, as well as scenes of daily urban life. The paintings share the southern light, architectural elegance, the charm of the landscapes, and the omnipresence of antiquity.
Good to know
A digital capriccio creation workshop is available at the end of the exhibition. Activities for families with children include a painting corner and a quiz.
