Since his debut album “Transsiberian” (2015), Thylacine has developed a taste for composing through travel. Each album that followed was synonymous with encounters and discoveries. His aim is to combine music and image to help us discover and navigate his world through his sonic voyage. As an explorator of electronic sounds, he recorded several albums in unique locations—aboard the Transsiberian for “Transsiberian,” in the Argentinian countryside for “ROADS vol.1” (2019), and in the Faroe Islands for “ROADS vol.2” (2021). Now he returns with “ROADS vol.3.” For this new album, Thylacine chose to continue his creative journey in a blazing 1972 Airstream caravan converted into a mobile studio, giving himself the most precious resource of all: time. Time, often scarce in the rigors of touring, allows travel to become a genuine experience where intuition can flourish into something profound and original. He also released other albums such as “Timeless” (2020) and “and 74 musicians” (2024). With “Timeless,” he offers a modern reinterpretation of major classical masterpieces, while “and 74 musicians” is a symphonic album recorded live with an orchestra and choir. His recent success has established the young electronic prodigy on the electronic scene after numerous sold-out performances in prestigious venues and festivals in France and internationally. On stage, he is an intoxicating performer who improvises and merges seamlessly with his unique musical journey.
