In "Thought at the Instant Said," a mixed piece for musicians playing infrabasses, Soizic Lebrat explores the act of thinking as an internal vibration. Continuing her investigations on the act of gentleness initiated in "Auscul(p)ter," she questions listening through what escapes language and hearing. Inspired by her practice of thinking while running, which she connects to the action guiding her musical gestures, she creates a work based on the vibration of a relaxed low string, shared with other musicians. This experimental sorority turns music into a space of care and contagion – a non-verbal transmission from one body to another.
