Since Isa moved with his mother, everything gets on his nerves. He cannot truly connect and, in his perspective, everything seems pointless. The world Isa has been placed into doesn't please them, and the future that adults promise seems undesirable. Thus, they decide to change everything entirely. Instead of conforming to what is expected, they embark on a journey to find their unique voice. Slowly but surely, they realize things have always functioned without a true understanding. From now on, Isa intends to chart their own course. However, this is easier said than done, especially when one must still coexist with others without hiding one's true self.
"Mat dir!" is a classroom performance for youth aged 14 and older featuring live music. Without distance, it addresses the realities of young people seeking direction and their own path in an overwhelming world.
